Services

Websites, built and kept running. Design through to launch, then the years afterwards — new features, redesigns, platform migrations, and the maintenance most providers treat as someone else's problem.

Membership and event systems. Renewals, registrations, member directories and committee tooling for clubs, associations and not-for-profits — specialising in this area for over fifteen years.

Online stores. Shopify, WooCommerce. Product catalogues, subscriptions, payment and shipping integrations, wholesale ordering, and stores operating across multiple countries with different tax, stock and compliance rules.

Custom development. Where an off-the-shelf extension gets most of the way there, the remainder gets written rather than the requirement being dropped.

Accessibility. WCAG assessment and remediation, including transactional sites built to audited government compliance standards.

Hosting and infrastructure. Dedicated server hardware in a data centre, administered directly rather than resold. Accounts aren't capped on memory or CPU; the machine is specified with room for everyone on it.

Uptime has run at 99.95% over the past year, including a major upstream network attack that affected providers across the board. Servers are rebooted for kernel updates as a matter of policy — a machine with a long uptime record and no patches is not a well-run one.

Backups run in layers. Full copies of every hosting account are kept weekly for about a year and daily for the past week, each carrying its own database history inside it — in practice a database can be recovered to any single day across roughly the last twelve months, and to the start of any month for eighteen. Everything is mirrored to offsite cold storage, and the scheme is tested by actually restoring from it.
